I am originally from Country Club Hills, IL and did not grow up around Southern cooking. It wasn't until I moved to New Orleans that my love for cooking began to flourish. Living in New Orleans for 14 years and working in various restaurants from casual dining to fine dining taught me so much. Cooking became my art, my therapy and my passion.
